Mission Statement:

Tubbs Hill, Inc. is a non-profit association dedicated to the preservation of Tubbs Hill City Park as a unique and natural lakeshore forest typical of North Idaho while providing for compatible public use.  We act as advocates for the park; advise the city administration on issues pertaining to the park; and support volunteer efforts, fund raising, community relations, and other tasks as needed to achieve this goal.

The Tubbs Hill Foundation is looking for a few individuals who care about Tubbs Hill to join us on our board.  Our mission is to help keep Tubbs Hill in its natural state and still enable appropriate public use, and we advise the city on management of Tubbs Hill. We meet the second Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at Calypso’s on Lakeside Street. Meetings usually last about an hour or hour and a half. Anyone is welcome to attend, and if you are interested in being on the board that is an excellent way to learn about what we do. If you have questions or are interested, please consider attending on June 14th or email George Sayler at gsaylercda@aol.com, You can also give him a call at 208-755-3815.  Your coffee or tea and snack are on us!
